DACC will be hosting visiting sophomores from around Delaware County on November 21, 24, and 25. There will be. no high school classes on these days. Each DACC student has worked with their instructor to volunteer, work remotely, or participate in job shadowing.

In order to provide time for professional development and the ongoing improvement of the education we provide to our students, there will be no high school classes October 17, 2025.

Thursday, Oct 16th is a Flexible Learning Day for DACC high school students. Students will be engaged in online assignments provided by their teachers. This is an opportunity to practice time management, self-direction, & skills necessary for learning remotely.

Fair Day- No Classes
Due to participation in the Delaware County Fair, there will be no high school classes on Sept. 15. We hope everyone has a safe and fun time at the fair.
Please remember that there is no school at DACC on Monday. However, students are expected to be in attendance at DACC Tuesday – Thursday even if your home school is closed. Transportation will be provided as normal with the exception of Delaware Hayes (please see below). If you know you will be absent on one of these days, please report your absence by calling us at 740-203-2268 or filling out the pre-arranged absence form.
Delaware Hayes students – on Thursday (9/18), you will be picked up at your local elementary school in the morning, and half-day students will be dropped off at Delaware Hayes High School at mid-day. Afternoon students will be picked up at Delaware Hayes High School, and at the end of the day, all Delaware Hayes students will be dropped off at your local elementary school. If you have further questions about transportation, please contact the Delaware City Schools Transportation Department.
