Student, Kohen, standing in front of ODNR truck

Kohen, a senior in DACC's Wildlife & Resource Management program, was recently selected by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) to serve on Ohio's Conservation Teen Advisory Council (conTAC) for the 2022-2023 school year.

Kohen was selected for this prestigious position based on his leadership skills related to wildlife and natural resources and his passion for making a positive change in natural resources in his community. During Kohen's term on conTAC, he will enact conservation-focused initiatives in our communities across Ohio, explore careers in the natural resources sector, develop valuable networking and leadership skills, and become empowered to be a wise steward of Ohio's natural resources.

Kohen will be traveling throughout Ohio to fulfill his commitment to this leadership council as they meet monthly at various state nature preserves and parks. Throughout the year, Kohen will be developing and implementing a conservation project. We're excited to see Kohen's conservation project develop.

He hopes to attend Hocking College after high school to study to become a wildlife officer. Congratulations to Kohen!
