Construction students at the Delaware Area Career Center recently completed four custom scorer tables that will be used in upcoming Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) basketball tournaments.
Students spent several weeks designing, building, painting, and finishing the tables to meet OHSAA’s specific needs.
The project provided students with valuable real-world experience, working on a functional product under a deadline. They tackled unique design challenges, such as incorporating foam padding and electrical outlets, expanding their skills beyond typical coursework.
