DACC's Early Childhood Education students recently hosted their annual Trunk or Treat event, transforming the main campus parking lot into a colorful, safe, and festive celebration for families across the community.
The event, a tradition within the Early Childhood Education program, is more than just costumes and candy. It serves as a hands-on learning opportunity for students to design and manage a community event. The students’ creativity shone through themed trunks, including a Cookie Monster car, a Minions-themed vehicle, and even a surprise visit from Santa and the Grinch.
Designed to be scare-free and family-friendly, Trunk or Treat provides local children a chance to get more use out of their costumes while experiencing the warm, welcoming spirit of DACC.
