Application Development & Programming Technology

Application Development & Programming Technology is a two-year high school career-prep program which offers immersive, personalized, and interactive learning opportunities to aspiring software developers.

Program Highlights:

  • Technopreneurship and Business Management

  • APIs (application programming interfaces)

  • Agile and Scrum Methodology and Practices

  • Cloud DevOps (cloud development and operations) Git (version control)

  • Data Science (machine learning and artificial intelligence)

  • Front-end (user-interfaces)

  • AR/VR (augmented- and virtual reality) Back-end (databases)

  • IoT (internet of things and microcontroller programming)

  • UX (user experience)

  • TDD (test-driven development)

  • CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous deployment)

Credits Available:

  • 3 elective credits per year

  • College credits available through Articulation Agreements with Columbus State Community College and Hocking College and through Career-Technical Assurance Guides (CTAGs)
