DACC students have a new outlet for stress and anxiety in the Media Center, thanks to Ms. Hammond's efforts through her trauma-informed practices and activities. Ms. Hammond recently earned her Trauma Informed Certification and immediately set to work creating "both a vibrant space of energy and learning and also a refuge for students to reset when needed."
