FFA Camp

Members of the Delaware Area Career Center (DACC) FFA Chapter recently attended Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum, held on the shores of Leesville Lake in Carroll County. The weeklong camp brought together FFA members from across the state for a variety of leadership development activities and outdoor experiences.

During the camp, students participated in structured workshops led by State FFA Officers and camp staff. These sessions focused on key leadership topics, including communication, teamwork, and goal setting. The program aimed to equip students with practical skills they can apply within their FFA chapters and future careers.

In addition to classroom-style sessions, campers took part in outdoor and recreational activities such as canoeing, kayaking, hiking, archery, and high ropes courses. These activities were designed to promote personal growth and encourage collaboration among students.

The week also included friendly competitions, team-building games, and evening campfire gatherings that allowed students to connect with peers from other schools and reflect on their experiences.

DACC FFA students returned from camp with new skills, strengthened chapter relationships, and a broader network of connections with fellow FFA members across Ohio.
