Alumni Spotlight - Caroline Sheridan

Caroline completed the Engineering Technology* program at DACC in 2021. Today, she is a sophomore at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, studying Aerospace Engineering.

During her first semester at college, she began working at the Min Kao Innovation and Collaboration studio, the main maker space for the campus. With access to a metal shop, woodshop, electronics lab, laser engraver, and 3D printer farm, Caroline is able to use the skills she learned at DACC in this role.

In 2023, she will be participating in a co-op program with ATA Engineering in San Diego where she will learn about, test, design, and analyze aerospace vehicles and structures.

“When speaking with a recruiter for this company, they were very impressed that I already had years of SolidWorks experience, as well as an internship during my senior year of high school. The Engineering Technology program at DACC had prepared me for college as well as for industry and I am very proud and grateful to be a DACC Engineering Tech alumni.”
