DACC Staff Spotlight: Melanie Bok, Administrative Assistant to Assistant Principals

Melanie Bok is finishing her 6th year at DACC. She has a diverse background of experience in an administrative assistant role. Before coming to DACC, she worked as a Staff Accountant in a local accounting firm. Prior to that, she was the Administrative Assistant in the Guidance Office at Big Walnut High School and began her career as a secretary in the Office of General Counsel at Nationwide.

“What I like best about working at DACC is seeing students come with a vision for their future and being allowed to have a small part in helping them reach their goals. I love my role of supporting our teachers at DACC so they can in turn support the students and help them succeed.”

Melanie and her husband and best friend of 30 years, Steve, have 2 grown children, Brittany and Jeremy. They also have 2 dogs and a cat - all wonderful rescues.

When not at DACC, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and taking long walks with her fur babies. Melanie loves following the Buckeyes, the Reds, and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
