DACC Staff Spotlight: Cheryl Mellen, EMIS (Education Management Information System) Coordinator
Cheryl Mellen is in her 5th year at DACC. She worked as a Securities Analyst and Recruiting Coordinator for MetLife/Mass Mutual for 18+ years before coming to DACC.
Cheryl’s favorite memory at DACC: “The day we moved into our beautiful new campus, although I miss the North campus as it has great memories for me. I graduated from Delaware JVS and Mrs. Carol Fuller was my teacher.”
Cheryl is married to Mark Cantrell and together they have 4 adult children and 10 grandchildren. They have two “fur babies,” a Boxer and Boxer-mix and her children say she spoils her dogs way more than she ever did them!
Cheryl is on the board of The Marion Area Humane Society and volunteers at events. She loves to travel to see family and friends in Tennessee and Florida. She and Mark, along with their dogs, go camping as much as possible.
