DACC Staff Spotlight: Tara Varanelli, Accounts Payable
Tara Varanelli has been at DACC for 5 years. Before DACC, she was an Office Manager at a Veterinary Hospital.
Tara’s most memorable experience at DACC has been moving into the new building.
Tara and her husband Joe have been married 26 years. They met right after high school where they both worked at Prudential Insurance Company. They have 3 children; Garrett, who went through the Digital Design program at DACC a few years back; Nick, who is in college in Indianapolis; and Grace, who is an Olentangy junior also at DACC. Tara’s family has 3 Coonhound fur babies (Del, Otto and Ruby). They were all rescues and are currently helping Tara cope with the kids all growing up and moving on. They also have a carnival goldfish that has been around for more years than they thought he would.
When not working, Tara enjoys gardening, DIY home projects, listening to vinyls, getting together with friends, long walks with Otto to the lake and watching True Crime TV. Tara was born and raised in New Jersey. She moved to Ohio in 2010 and often get teased for her “Jersey accent.”
