DACC Staff Spotlight: Buck Weaver, Assistant Principal
Mr. Weaver is in his 2nd year as Assistant Principal at DACC. He started his career as a teacher and coach in the Olentangy School District. He then transitioned to be the Athletic Director at Westerville South High School for 4 years, and then the Athletic Director at Olentangy Orange High School for 2 years.
Buck has not just one favorite memory while in education, but a combination of many great memories. “Seeing students from all different backgrounds and interests come together to extend their knowledge and skills to best prepare them for their ‘what’s next’ after high school - this continues to be my favorite aspect of being involved in our organization at DACC.”
Buck and his wife, Annie, have been married for almost 9 years. They have a 7-year-old daughter, Joanie, and a 4-year-old son, Griffin.
In his free time, Buck enjoys spending time with his family on a beach, at a lake and on a boat, playing sports, riding bikes, fishing, and going on nature walks. He also enjoys golfing, woodworking, and building the projects his wife plans.
