DACC Staff Spotlight: Emily Hardy, Science Instructor
Emily Hardy is in her 7th year at DACC as a Science Instructor - her first teaching job. Before DACC, she was in college at Capital University where she was a chemistry and math tutor.
Emily enjoys seeing her students take on a teaching role, either on Sophomore Visit Days, where they have taught her things like how to weld and how to properly climb a telephone pole, or during summer camps with middle school students. She also loves making her students laugh and enjoy learning.
Emily and her husband Daniel have 3 cats: Pancake, Kamina, and Brody. When not teaching, she likes playing video games, running/lifting heavy things, and rock climbing
