DACC Staff Spotlight: Craig Lobdell, Science Instructor

Craig Lobdell has been teaching at DACC for 21 years. He taught in the Diocese for 10 years at Bishop Ready and Bishop Watterson. Craig earned his master’s at age 50. “Education is about being a lifetime learner. You always learn as long as you’re receptive to the process.” He will be retiring from high school at the end of this school year but will continue educating at the college level.

Craig’s favorite memories have been taking students on field trips including cadaver labs and scuba diving. He enjoys working with students and says, “All students are special in their own ways.”

Craig has always been around cats and currently has a Himalayan/Persian cat named Galahad. He enjoys golfing, listening to music, going to concerts, and traveling the world.
