Nicki Wright has been working at DACC since 2006 and opened the Career Based Intervention (CBI) program at Dempsey Middle School. Previously, she was the CBI instructor for Knox County Career Center at Clear Fork Middle School and worked in Customer Service at Kroger. Nicki’s best memories teaching has been when she has the opportunity to work on service projects with her students.

Nicki’s husband is the Chief of Administrative Services at Olentangy Local Schools. They have three boys, Ryan, 22; Isaiah, 21; and Logan, 18. Nicki and her husband adopted all three of her boys and they are biological brothers. “We were there for the birth of Logan in Montana. When he was 1-1/2 years old, his birthmother asked us to adopt his two older brothers. They came to Ohio when they were 3 and 5. It was a unique way to become a mom!”

In her free time, Nicki educates others about health and wellness by using essential oils. She has a team of 300 oilers.
