DACC Staff Spotlight: Rod Glazer, Law Enforcement Instructor

Commander Glazer has been working with DACC’s Adult Education Ohio Basic Peace Office Training Academy (OPOTA) since 2015 and the high school Law Enforcement program since 2020. Before DACC, Rod began his law enforcement career in 1982 as a Military Police (MP) in the US Army and worked as a civilian law enforcement officer from 1986-2020.

Rod’s favorite teaching memory “is when a former student told me they used something successfully in a real-life situation that they learned from me. That is rewarding.”

Rod has been married for 35 years and has two children and two grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family when he is not teaching.
