DACC Staff Spotlight: David Finnegan, Automotive Collision Technology Instructor
David Finnegan is in his 6th year at DACC. Before working at DACC, his career started at Pioneer Career Center in Shelby, Ohio. After graduation, he started working at G&M Body in Mansfield and was there for 28 years. He then started teaching and has taught at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, C-TEC of Licking County and Eastland-Fairfield Career Center.
Mr. Finnegan enjoys watching his students grow and use their skills towards being employed or proving themselves at a SkillsUSA competition. “I feel privileged every day having the opportunity to be part of student development and learning skills to be successful in life.”
David has 3 sons, several grandchildren, and is close with his brothers and sisters.
When not teaching, he enjoys hay making, farming, and road trips on his Harley to Lake Erie and other fun places.
