DACC Staff Spotlight: Jennifer Kessler, Equine Science Instructor

Jennifer Kessler has been teaching at DACC for 6 years. Before DACC, she taught 15 years at the Education Service Center (ESC) of Central Ohio Alternative Education Horse Farm Program as an Intervention Specialist/Equine Science Instructor and 4 years in Agricultural Education at Buckeye Valley High School. Jennifer also owns a horse breeding farm and is a former riding instructor and horse trainer. As a teacher, Jennifer says it has been rewarding to watch students graduate and move on to other opportunities

When not at DACC, Jennifer enjoys working on her farm, sailing, and coaching 4-H horse knowledge competition teams.

She and her husband, DACC Landscape Architecture & Construction Instructor Gary Kessler, have been married 28 years. They have 4 children: Morgan, Blake, Grant, and Maria. They also have a hedgehog, a turkey, 2 dogs, 6 cats, 6 donkeys, and 16 horses.
