Staff Spotlight: Patricia Bace, Culinary Arts Instructor
Patricia Bace has been at DACC since 1997, first as the Cafeteria Manager and now as the Culinary Arts Instructor. She has a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and was a pastry chef and had her own catering business before working at DACC.
Patty’s favorite teaching memories come from seeing the joy of each student when they create a delicious product from scratch and are so proud of their accomplishment.
Outside of school, Patty enjoys scuba diving, learning to play golf, gardening and cooking. Most of all, she loves spending time with her grandchildren.
Patty has 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren with another on the way, and a 21-year-old cat and rescued puppy.
