DACC Staff Spotlight: Leslie Brennan, Hospitality Instructor
Leslie Brennan has been at DACC for three years. Before DACC, she was an Intervention Specialist/Transition Teacher at Delaware Hayes High School where she developed the Work Study Program and has also worked as a Job Coach at Dublin Jerome High School.
Leslie enjoys teaching her students valuable life skills. “I love it when my students realize that they have gifts and talents to share that are needed and wanted. The light in their eyes when they get it is so wonderful to see!”
Outside of DACC, Leslie enjoys traveling, going out to dinner, doing virtual reads with her grandkids and working out - including yoga and just about anything the Peloton app has to offer. Although her distance running days are over, she has completed 10 marathons and numerous half marathons. She was also once a quilter.
Leslie and her husband are the proud parents of 5 sons. They have a Director of Sports Training at Stanford University, a plumber, a Health Care Coordinator, an Associate Account Manager at Oracle, and a Marine. They also have a grandson (Carter – 3 yrs.) and a granddaughter (Reagan – 6 mos.).
