It’s an exciting week in the Delaware Area Career Center Fire Service Training program as students take part in live burn exercises.
Throughout the week, students are strengthening essential skills such as teamwork, communication, perseverance, and endurance. Under the supervision of certified professionals, students train with a propane-fueled system that allows them to safely experience working with real fire and real equipment in a controlled environment.
Thank you to the Berlin Township Fire Department for supporting this training by providing access to their fire truck, allowing students to gain hands-on experience with interior burns.
These exercises provide invaluable learning opportunities, preparing students to respond with confidence and precision in real-world emergency situations.
