Completion Ceremony 2025

The Delaware Area Career Center honored its biggest completer class to-date -- 602 students strong -- on Thursday evening at Delaware Hayes High School.

Speakers at this year's Completion Ceremony included seniors Kyle Sanson (Wildlife & Resource Management/Delaware Hayes), Elizabeth Rockwell (Cosmetology/Big Walnut), Leopold Harden (Automotive Technology/Westerville South), Piper Baxley (Digital Design/Delaware Hayes), Ava Lago-Jones (Cosmetology/Olentangy Berlin), Megan Sullenberger (Health Technology & Nursing/Olentangy Liberty), Alexandra Arevalo-Gomez (Culinary Arts/Worthington Kilbourne), Tristyn Bridgewater (Criminal Justice/Olentangy Orange) and Isabelle Lazar (Equine Science/Delaware Hayes).

Thaliah Sanchez (Dental Assisting/Thomas Worthington) delivered this year's keynote student address. Her speech was preceded by inspiring words from Superintendent Jay Poroda and Principal David Gilliam.
