DACC Job Fair

The Delaware Area Career Center welcomed a record number of local employers to its spring Job Fair on March 5, connecting students with job opportunities in a wide variety of industries.

More than 50 employers from Delaware County and Central Ohio set up shop at DACC for the day, representing industries such as healthcare, information technology, the skilled trades, local and state government, and hospitality/tourism. Several local non-profit organizations were also in attendance.

An estimated 800 DACC students participated in the spring Job Fair. Among the industry representatives in attendance were four DACC alumni – returning to their alma mater to inspire and connect with the next generation.

“The DACC Job Fair is a great opportunity for our students to connect with local employers and explore career options,”  DACC Career Readiness Coordinator Lisa-Marie Reinhart said. “At DACC, students gain valuable skills and earn industry-recognized credentials while still in high school – qualifications that many employers actively seek. Equally, employers benefit from meeting and engaging with their future workforce.”

The Job Fair was also an opportunity for DACC’s lab instructors to connect with local employers, establishing relationships that could one day lead to work-based learning, job shadowing and internship opportunities for DACC students.

“Our business partners play a vital role in enhancing the education we provide by offering hands-on experiences, mentorship, and work-based learning opportunities that bring real-world relevance to our students’ training,” Reinhart said. “I’m grateful for the businesses that participate, helping students build connections and take meaningful steps toward their careers. It’s truly a win-win for everyone.”

DACC would like to thank its local business and industry partners for their continued, outstanding collaboration and partnership.
