State FFA Degree Recpients

We are excited to congratulate our State FFA Degree recipients! The State FFA Degree, a recognition of excellence and dedication, is the second highest honor a member can receive. It reflects their commitment and perseverance in agricultural education and career readiness. These students have distinguished themselves as finalists in top proficiency categories.

 

The following DACC students have demonstrated exceptional skills and knowledge in their respective programs, earning them the prestigious State FFA Degree:

  • Aiden O'Quinn, Alaska Hayes, Bella Hughes, Coy Grayum, Mary Hyde, and Riley Hedderman - Wildlife and Resource Management students.

  • Ashlie Street, a recent graduate of the Equine Science Program.

  • Samantha Bothager - Power Sports and Diesel Technology.

  • Taelynn Ayers - Landscape Architecture and Construction.

 

Graduates Continue to Excel Kara Lindley and Sarah Steck, recent graduates of the Equine Science Program, are still eligible to compete. Lindley is a finalist for the Star State FFA Degree in Agriscience, while Steck has earned the American FFA Degree, a testament to their ongoing engagement with the FFA and the comprehensive foundation they received at DACC.

 

Top Proficiency Finalists: Demonstrating their mastery in specific categories, the following students have secured their place as top 4 finalists in the State FFA Proficiency awards:

  • Taelynn Ayers, a Landscape Architecture and Construction student, and Noah Young, a recent graduate, competed in Landscape Management Proficiency.

  • Coy Grayum, a Landscape Architecture and Construction student, competed in Nursery Operations.

  • Bella Hughes, a student in Wildlife and Resource Management, is a finalist in Small Animal Production and Care Proficiency.

 

The Delaware Area Career Center is committed to empowering, preparing, inspiring, and connecting students to future opportunities. The accomplishments of these FFA members underscore the school's vision and the successful path it paves for students in agriculture and beyond.
