Accentuating Alumni - Marci Wheeler

Highlighting Marci Wheeler, a DACC alumna on her path to nursing excellence! Graduating from Rutherford B. Hayes High School and DACC’s Health Technology program in 2020, Marci is now making strides as a State Tested Nursing Assistant. Simultaneously, she's advancing her education as a junior nursing student at Kent State University, with graduation on the horizon for next spring.

Marci attributes much of her success to the strong foundation provided by DACC. “The program not only equipped me with essential nursing skills but also enhanced my ability to communicate effectively with patients and understand medical terminology, which is vital in everyday nursing,” she explains.

To those currently enrolled and considering DACC, Marci offers this insightful advice: “Utilize all the resources DACC offers and cherish your time in school. The foundation you build here is crucial, so represent it well in your future endeavors. And remember, the hard work you put in now will definitely pay off.
