Accentuating Alumni - Audrey Gaines

Spotlight on Audrey, a DACC success story! A graduate of Olentangy Berlin High School, Audrey completed DACC’s Equine Science program in 2021. Today, she's the proud owner of Juniors Farm Care LLC, a thriving business that reflects her passion for animals.

Audrey's entrepreneurial journey includes providing pet and farm sitting services, where she ensures animals are cared for with the utmost love and attention while their owners are away. Her work allows her the flexibility to create her own schedule and income, a freedom she cherishes.

Besides her business, Audrey enjoys involving her son in her work, exposing him to the diverse range of animals she tends to. She, along with her husband and son, also manages their own cattle farm, home to 30 heads of cattle, goats, a horse, chickens, and pigs. They're eagerly anticipating the upcoming calving season. Additionally, Audrey is diligently working towards her American FFA Degree.

Reflecting on her time at DACC, Audrey says, “The equine program at DACC not only honed my existing knowledge about animals but also equipped me with advanced skills that have been instrumental in my career.”

To current and future DACC students, Audrey offers this heartfelt advice: “Enjoy your time at DACC! Embrace this opportunity to discover your passions. It's a pivotal step in shaping your future career path.”
