Technology Innovation Award

The Delaware Area Career Center (DACC) is pleased to announce that Media Center Specialist, Ms. Grace Hammond, has been awarded the Tech Innovation Award by the Ohio Educational Library Media Association (OELMA). Ms. Hammond was honored during the annual Professional Recognition Awards held on October 11th, highlighting Ms. Hammond’s diligent efforts in employing technology to enhance learning and hands-on experiences at DACC.

The OELMA Tech Innovation Award is reserved for a licensed school library media specialist who not only utilizes technology as a pivotal tool for learning but also actively engages in collaborations to infuse technology throughout the curriculum.

Ms. Hammond has consistently provided support to the DACC student body, ensuring access to the latest technological tools and providing guidance on optimizing the use of available technology. Her innovative strategies in implementing technology facilitate a more interactive, engaging, and effective learning environment for students, preparing them for a future where technology is intertwined with every aspect of life.
