Students from DACC and DACC's Dempsey Middle School CBI program displayed solidarity and support for a crucial cause by participating in the 12th Annual Suicide Prevention Walk on September 9th. The event, organized by the Delaware Suicide Prevention Coalition, resonated with hope, awareness, and change. The walk aimed to provide a secure and supportive environment to everyone and emphasized inclusivity.
Eliza Finley, a student from DACC's Cosmetology program and Buckeye Valley High School, contributed the winning design for the event’s t-shirt, which was distributed to all the participants as a symbol of unity and support.
DACC is proud of all the participating students who have helped shine a light on the importance of mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Through collective efforts, DACC staff and students continue to foster an environment of support and care for everyone in the community.
