The DACC FFA had several student recognitions at the Ohio FFA Convention in May. We are proud of their accomplishments.
Proficiency Awards:
The Agricultural Proficiency Awards program rewards FFA members at the local, state and national levels for exceptional accomplishments and excellence in a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) program. This year DACC had 2 Proficiency Award finalists:
- Kara Lindley- State Winner, Agriscience Research- Animal Systems Proficiency & Advancing to Nationals
- Noah Young- State Runner-up, Landscape Management Proficiency Award
Agriscience Fair:
- Skyler Thompson- Agriscience Fair- Environmental Services & Natural Resource Systems, 1st in State & advancing to Nationals.
- Ari Kennedy- Agriscience Fair- Plant Systems, 2nd in the State
- LaKieya Fells- Agriscience Fair- Social Sciences- 3rd in the State
State FFA Degrees:
This year DACC is proud to have 13 State Degree Recipients!! The State FFA Degree is awarded to FFA members who are involved in chapter leadership, state–level activities, and community service and who complete a set number of hours of instruction and Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE) project growth and productivity.
