(DACC) has been selected to represent career and technical education on a national stage through the Public Television series All Access. In recognition of its innovative programs and student-centered approach, DACC was invited to participate in a special feature that highlights how career tech empowers students to explore their passions and build meaningful futures.

The feature includes two video segments now available for public viewing:

  • A 60-second spotlight, which introduces DACC’s mission and impact in a fast-paced, high-energy overview.

  • A 6-minute feature, offering a deeper look into the programs, philosophies, and people that make DACC a leader in modern education.

Both videos showcase voices from across the DACC community — including Superintendent Jay Poroda, instructors, alumni, and industry partners — sharing how hands-on learning and real-world experiences are preparing students for success in college, careers, and life.

“It’s like a dress rehearsal for life,” said Superintendent Jay Poroda. “When students are passionate about what they’re learning, they become engaged, adaptable learners ready to contribute to the workforce and their communities.”

“Everything you need to succeed in life, you can get at DACC,” added alumnus Ben Coverdale, now a student at Denison University.

DACC was chosen from among schools and organizations nationwide to be featured in All Access, a series that airs on Public Television and profiles innovative leaders in business, healthcare, education, and beyond.
