We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your visit to Delaware Area Career Center’s (DACC) website. Outlined below is DACC’s website privacy policy (Policy). By visiting DACC’s website, you consent to this Policy.

DACC collects personal information associated with student enrollment at DACC.  By using this site, you agree that DACC may collect any information you disclose on the enrollment application form.  You further agree that DACC may maintain and use this information for purposes that are necessary and relevant to DACC’s operations.  This information may include but is not limited to billing information including credit card numbers for adult students paying tuition using DACC’s website.  Credit card information is collected by a third-party (  DACC staff members do not have access to credit card information.  DACC may also collect, maintain and use e-mail addresses in order to send out timely information via e-mail regarding school events, resources and issues.  Clear and easy-to-follow opt-out instructions are provided at the bottom of all e-mails. 

In addition, DACC uses cookie technology.  Information may be collected using cookies which may include a record of your visit.  The homepage of the DACC website tracks cookies to enhance your experience by “remembering” whether you are an Adult Education or Secondary Education student.  This allows you to more easily navigate the website during subsequent visits. 

DACC does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.  This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating the website or servicing you.  DACC may also release your information when DACC believe the release is appropriate to comply with law, enforce our site policies, or to protect the property, safety, or rights of DACC or others. For secondary students (non-adult education students), DACC may disclose information to your home school.  This Policy is subject to state and federal student privacy laws and regulations. 

You are not legally required to supply personal information we collect on DACC’s website.  You may refuse to provide personal information over the website by not utilizing the website for enrollment and payment purposes. 

This Policy applies only to information collected online through the website and not to information collected by DACC offline.   DACC may have links to outside websites that DACC does not control.  DACC is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of these sites.
