The Career Passport is an individualized exit credential prepared by all the graduates of each of the high schools listed above. Each award winner received $250.00 from a sponsoring organization.

It is intended as a summary of a student’s achievements in high school and a blueprint for the immediate future. Students are encouraged to use their Career Passport in employment, college admissions, and scholarship interviews to help the interviewer get a more complete picture of the student’s background. Components of the Career Passport include:

  • A letter of introduction from the school administrator
  • The student’s resume
  • Validation of Performance – a career narrative in which the student defines his or her career goals, states qualifications for the position, and outlines a plan for reaching the goal.
  • Evidence of Student Skills – including a transcript and for career/technical students only, a competency list.
  • Verification of Employability Skills
  • Suggested additional components are a school profile, letters of recommendation and certificates of recognition

Thank you to all of our sponsors, who made the $250.00 award possible:
