Zoo School Alumnus Awarded ICF Scholarship for $5,000

Congratulations to Kevin Rhodus, a former DACC Columbus Zoo and Aquariums School student from 2006-2007 school year. Kevin was awarded the Michael Vergauwen Education Fund Scholarship by ICF, the foundation of InfoComm International, the leading professional audiovisual trade association. The scholarship totaled $5,000. According to InfoComm, “The Michael Vergauwen Education Fund fosters educational opportunities, enhancing the audiovisual industry’s service to the public through scholarships, curriculum development, community engagement and the promotion of careers in the AV field.”

Kevin is currently working for both the Ohio State University and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Audio/Visual for Natural Resources. He also serves on DACC’s Columbus Zoo and Aquarium School Advisory Board.
