IT-Media Graduate Featured in Freelance Unleashed

October 3, 2012

Brent Galloway, a 2008 graduate from our IT-Media program, was recently interviewed by Freelance Unleashed, a publication for those who have ventured out on their own to work for themselves.

Of course, the highlight of the interview for us at DACC is this comment:

“I attended a technical career center half-day for interactive media. In this course I had the opportunity to do a few client websites pro bono – and this was when I realized that I could make money with what I loved to do!”

As a student at DACC, Brent took third place at the statewide SkillsUSA contest in web design, he was selected for the Grief Corporation Media Internship, and he won the 2008 Ohio Technical Preparation Outstanding Student Award.

Brent is now a freelancer designer for clients such as Timberz, Folchi’s Formal Wear, Koto Japanese Steakhouse, and much more. His web site and portfolio can be found here.
