Digital Design Student Secures Latest Technology

March 17, 2014

Chris Squires had a great idea and luckily his teacher and DACC administration agreed. Chris saw an opportunity to get a pair of Google Glass before they hit the mainstream market and become an early tester of this new technology. As a 16 year old, he did not have the funds to finance his idea, so he proposed to DACC that the school make the investment and his class, along with those classes that come after him, will benefit. Chris wrote the proposal, developed curriculum, and a few months later, the Digital Design class is using the Google Glass every day.

Each student is taking turns using the Google Glass for a day at a time and writing a review of the experience. This is one great example of how DACC students are encouraged to think creatively and stay on top of what's new in their industries.
