DACC Dental Students Become Educators During Dental Hygiene Month

March 7, 2013

Every year, the American Dental Association sponsors National Children’s Health Month in February. So it was only appropriate that the DACC Dental Assisting students took their show on the road and visited first grade students at Huber Ridge Elementary to teach them about proper oral hygiene including topics such as why you should brush your teeth regularly and how to do it properly. It’s never too early to start healthy tooth-brushing habits, so every student was sent home with a tooth brush, tooth paste, and a fun tooth brushing song to share with their family.
