District Information

District Information - Financial Data

Valuation History (1991-2006)
This graph shows the historical growth of the three different types of real estate properties (residential/agricultural, commercial/industrial, and business tangible) over the last 16 years. Tangible property includes a business' inventory, equipment, fixtures, and furniture. Tangible property tax is being phased out over the next four years as a result of HB66

Levy History (since inception)
This table shows the results of every issue the Career Center has put before the voters including the November 2005 renewal.

Financial History (1996-2006)
This graph shows the historical trend of the Career Center's General Fund revenues, expenditures and cash balances over the last 10 years. The General Fund is the district's primary operating fund which accounts for approximately 70% of the district's revenues and expenditures.

Enrollment History (1993-2007)
This graph shows the historical trend of the Career Center's high school student enrollment and high school student FTE (full-time equivolency) over the last 14 years. This is based on the student count taken for a week every October and a week in February (starting with the 2006-2007 school year). If a student attends the Career Center, the student is counted as 1 student for enrollment purposes. If that student attends the Career Center all day, than the student would also be counted as 1 student for FTE purposes. However, if the student attends the Career Center for only half the day, the student would only be counted as 0.5 student for FTE purposes.

Plus if a student misses school during the count week, then the student is counted as >1 student for FTE purposes (the exact number depends on the actual time spent at school). The Career Center has a large population of half day students. That helps to explain the significant difference between the student enrollment and student FTE on the graph.

5 Year Forecast
The five year forecast is the district's primary financial planning tool. The forecast provides three years of actual historical financial data and five years of projected financial data for the district's General Fund (which accounts for approximately 70% of the district's financial resources). By law, the forecast must be submitted to the State every October and May; however the forecast can be submitted at anytime if there are any significant changes. Forecast revised 9/21/07

5 Year Forecast Assumptions
The assumptions explain how the district arrived at the data presented in the projected portion of the five year forecast. Assumptions revised 9/21/07

Annual Report (2006)
This report provides a numeric summary of the General Fund for the preceding fiscal year (July 1-June 30), including graphs
