Ohio Basic Peace Officer Training Academy

Start your career in public safety with DACC's Academy, offered in partnership with the Delaware County Sheriff's Office.

This program meets all requirements of the Ohio Peace Officer Training Council and is mandated by the state of Ohio to allow our graduates to serve as commissioned peace officers in the state.

Firefighting I & II

Fight fires & save lives with 297 hours of fire training at DACC. This course meets and exceeds the NFPA 1001 Standards of fire training and leads to the highest level of fire certification in the State of Ohio including “Pro-Board Certification”.

Nurse Aide Training Program

The healthcare field is booming and qualified medical professionals are in-demand.

This course provides instruction on utilizing a humanistic approach to providing basic care to people in a variety of health care settings. You will learn the information and practical skills necessary for taking and passing the certification exam required by the state.

Emergency Medical Technician

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Training Program consists of 176 hours of classroom and hands-on training regarding all aspects of the job duties of an emergency medical technician, including bleeding control, airway control maneuvers, basic anatomy and physiology of the human body and medical emergency intervention. This course meets or exceeds the EMT National Standard and state of Ohio EMT curriculum.

Motorcycle Ohio

If you're already established in your career and you're looking for a hobby, now is a great time to get on a motorcycle.

For riders 18 and over who have been riding on a temporary permit for at least a year, or who are starting to ride again after an extended time away from riding, the Returning Rider BRS (BRS-RR) is the course to take.

This 8-hour course is designed for those over 18 years of age who have been riding with a temporary permit for longer than one year (over 1,000 miles of experience ) and for experienced riders returning to riding, with or without a motorcycle endorsement, after several years of not riding.
