Delaware County Farm Bureau Welcomes New Ag Instructors

Earlier this month, the Delaware County Farm Bureau made sure that DACC’s new Agriculture Instructors were welcomed to the county with open arms. DACC/Buckeye Valley Ag Instructor, Alex Zimmer and DACC/Big Walnut Ag Instructor, Jeff Stimmel were the guests of honor at a meet and greet event held at the Delaware Area Career Center.

Working with the Delaware Area Chamber of Commerce Quality of Life Committee, teachers Nicki Wright and Tina Francis arranged tours of local manufacturing plants to show their students that they can plan for a successful career in manufacturing and the companies that are hiring are in their own community. Companies that participated in the tour included Federal Heath Sign Company, V&P Hydraulic Products, Sky Climber, and Luvata Ohio.
